What I’m Reading – April 14, 2015

Here’s what I’ve been reading lately:

Short Fiction:
“Silver Buttons All Down His Back” by A.C. Wise in Apex Magazine.
“Come My Love and I’ll Tell You a Tale” by Sunny Moraine in Shimmer.

Novels & Collections:
The Doll Collection, an anthology of dark fiction, edited by Ellen Datlow.
Monday’s Lie, a great mystery/thriller, by Jamie Mason.
The Glittering World, a dark and beautiful modern fairy tale, by Robert Levy.

I highly recommend them all! And a few items from my to-read pile:

The Grace of Kings, Book 1 of The Dandelion Dynasty, by Ken Liu.
Flex, an urban fantasy about magic and how far a father will go to save his daughter, by Ferrett Steinmetz.
The Glass Falcon (Folley & Mallory Adventure Book 2), a steampunk fantasy about a bungled museum theft and an ancient Egyptian riddle, by E. Tobler.
These Last Embers, a stand-alone story in chapbook form, by Simon Strantzas.
